7 Records Fall at Texas A&M HS Indoor Classic
Down in College Station at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium, seven records fell. Brian Herron from Georgia broke Aldrich Bailey's 2012 time of 21.14 with his own time of 21.06 in the prelims. Expo Explosion Marks the Beginning of the 2018 Season
In traditional style, the annual Expo Explosion marks the beginning of the track and field season. Expo Explosion IX featured a record-setting 290 vaulters, from ages 8 to 78. Yes, the ageless Don Isett - age 78 - cleared 9' 2" to win the 75-79 age group. Don ran the 400 for Clyde Littlefield at the University of Texas and didn't take up vaulting until age 66!
