TTFCA Winter Clinic

The Texas Track & Field Coaches Association's Winter Clinic is scheduled for January 10-11, 2020 at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine. This two-day clinic will afford all attendees opportunities to learn from many of the top track & field coaches in the nation, including the staff of the NCAA Men's Outdoor National Champions - Texas Tech. Head Coach Wes Kittley and his award-winning staff will be on site to teach.

Jon Drummond, 2012 USA Olympic Relays Coach will present. Ruqayya Gibson will present on Caring for Your Athlete's Health (in conjunction with the Damani Gibson Foundation), and the entire event will kick off with all-world official Jim Carlisle updating us on the 2020 rules changes. Kenny Roseman of J.U.M.P. Smart Texas will speak on Triple Jump. Kenny helped coach D.J. Henderson (University of Oregon) and Jasmine Moore (University of Georgia.) In addition, anyone wanting to acquire Officials Certification will have the opportunity to do so.

18 Continuing Education Hours for attending. That's correct - you receive 18 Continuing Education Hours for attending the TTFCA's Winter Clinic. Bring that back to HR, and have them include that in your personnel file :)

Friday evening: The Texas Track & Field Hall of Fame will induct its 2020 Hall of Fame Class - to be announced soon! Join us as we welcome another esteemed group into Texas Track & Field immortality. Food and drinks to follow.

Should the Great Wolf Lodge run out of rooms, don't worry; there are plenty of available rooms within minutes of the Lodge.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
