

Inaugural Moss-Eaddy Scholarship Award Recipients
The Inaugural (2016) Moss-Eaddy Scholarship Award Recipients are Jordan Barnes of the Life School Waxahachie and Treet Allison of Canyon HS. In an effort to honor two lives lost too soon, the Texas Track & Field Coaches Association has established two scholarships, one in the name of SMU athlete Hannah Moss and the other in the name of Kierstin Eaddy of The Shelton School. 7th Annual Texas Track & Field Hall of Fame Class Inducted (January 8, 2016)
A majestic evening saw witness to several of Track & Field's greatest names inducted into the Texas Track & Field Hall of Fame. Among the honorees: Buddy Davis, Fred Hansen, Darrow Hooper, Carl Lewis, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Jeremy Wariner. [Bobby Morrow, Jim Hines, Rafer Johnson, and Jerry Thompson were unable to make attend the ceremony, although each were also inducted.]


2016 Kicks Off with Successful Expo Explosion VII in Belton
Expo Explosion VII, highlighted by Shawn Barber's Meet Record 19-3.50 clearance, featured many of the best vaulters in and around Texas. Demi Payne won the Elite Open Women's competition at 4.52m, while Shawn Barber captured the Elite Open Men's division at 5.88m.
