Q&A About Attending the Hall of Fame Ceremony

Q: Is the Hall of Fame induction ceremony open to the public?

A: Yes.  The ceremony is open to track & field fans, family and friends of those being recognized and inducted.  Media are also welcome.

Q: Are tickets required to attend the ceremony?

A: At the current time, no tickets are required.  

Q: Once at the ceremony, is it open seating?

A: No.  There are specific areas set aside for inductees and their families as well as other groups in attendance.  Friends and fans will have ample seating.

Q: What time does the ceremony start?

A: The ceremony starts promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Q: What's the address of the hotel?

A: 100 Great Wolf Drive / Grapevine, TX 76051

Q: If we decide to spend the night, are we eligible for a discount on a hotel room?

A: Yes, call ahead of time and mention you are with the TTFCA Winter Clinic

Q: Are others recognized this evening, as well?

A: In the past, the Texas Track & Field Coaches Association recognized its High School and Collegiate Athletes of the Year and its High School and College Coaches of the Year. Athletes and Coaches of the Year are now recognized at the TTFCA Meet of Champions.

Q: Do current Hall of Famers attend the ceremony?

A: Yes.  Many of our current Hall of Famers not only attend the ceremony, but they also play a role in the ceremony.

Q: Does the ceremony include a sit-down dinner?

A: At this time, the ceremony does not include a sit-down dinner.  After the ceremony, food and drinks are provided in an informal setting, better to allow for mingling and catching up with old and new friends.

A: Honorees and inductees can be found on this website; as well, please follow our Twitter feed as information is released in real time via social media.

A: Twitter is a great place to find out which current Hall of Famers will be in attendance.  We'll also do our best to update through this site.
