Q&A About Attending the Hall of Fame Ceremony

Q: Is the Hall of Fame induction ceremony open to the public?
A: No. The 2024 ceremony requires a ticket, as this year we are having a dinner prior to the Induction. After the Induction, those in attendance are welcome to enjoy the social. Credentialed media are welcome.
Q: Are tickets required to attend the ceremony?
A: Tickets are required. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time via the PayPal link below. As well, you may send a check to Texas Track & Field Coaches Association / 1012 Foxwood Lane / Wylie, TX 75098. Your tickets will await you at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame on January 5, 2024, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Q: Once at the ceremony, is it open seating?
A: No. There are specific areas set aside for inductees and their families as well as other groups in attendance. No worries - plenty of great seating for all.
Q: What time does the ceremony start?
A: The ceremony begins after the dinner, which starts at 7:00 p.m.

Q: If we decide to spend the night, are we eligible for a discount on a hotel room?
A: Yes, call ahead of time and mention you are with the TTFCA Winter Clinic. Click on the Winter Clinic link, and you'll find information to either call or book online.
Q: Are others recognized this evening, as well?
A: The Texas Track & Field Coaches Association will also recognize its High School Coaches of the Year, its Moss-Eaddy Scholarship recipients, and its M-F Athletic Ed Marcinkiewicz Community Service Award Winner.
Q: Do current Hall of Famers attend the ceremony?
A: Yes. Many of our current Hall of Famers not only attend the ceremony, but they also play a role in the ceremony.
Q: Does the ceremony include a sit-down dinner?
A: Yes, the ceremony does include a sit-down dinner prior to the Hall of Fame Induction. This year's menu includes a rib-eye grilled on site, along with potatoes, green beans, and a beverage. After the Ceremony, please stay for the social so you can mingle with friends, coaches and all of the award recipients.
